AD – this is a sponsored post, however all views are my own

A large part of visiting, working in, and living in London is the need to commute; whether that’s twenty minutes on the tube, on the overground from East to West or getting a train into a main station. Travelling is often seen as ‘dead’ time, the unlucky among us can be seen working on their laptops, however most of each carriage are often craned over their phone mindlessly scrolling.

This is where Skedadle come in, as an exciting new way to earn whilst you play. It’s not just a gaming app; it’s a way to turn leisure time into extra cash with a variety of games and multiple opportunities to earn.

Skedadle App Review

I’ve been using Skedadle during my commutes for the past week, and despite needing to get a little better at the games (they’re really not hard, I’m just not a natural gamer!) I can say it’s a great way to pass time and earn a little extra cash. There are eight games on offer which you can play as many times as you like, and watch the pennies turn into pounds. My personal favourites so far are Snake and Stackit; simple to play but addictive.

With platforms that are free to use and ad free a rare occurrence now, Skedadle have ensured that ads are seamlessly integrated into gameplay so that your gaming isn’t interrupted with a pesky ad.

“Skedadle Pioneers the World’s First Player Economy: Where Fun and Earnings Unite

A community where everyone shares in the rewards, I think it might be a while before my username starts showing up on the leader boards. But I’m happy to take on the challenge! More cash into my holiday fund is always good with me.

Another way that I can top up my holiday fund with earnings from Skedadle is to invite friends, earn more, and multiply the fun. Once £1 has been earned via playing games, you then receive extra rewards for each friend who embarks on their Skedadle journey.

Of course, Skedadle can be played anywhere, however on the train the games are a great way to pass the time when you likely wouldn’t be doing much productive anyway. The team are currently working on an offline version, so very soon you won’t even need signal to play; however with many tube lines such as the Jubilee line and Elizabeth line boasting 4G signal, there’s no excuse to join the Skedadle community, start playing and watch the money roll in.

To conclude my Skedadle app review, I am loving being able to earn extra cash in time that I would otherwise be mindlessly scrolling social media.I feel like I’ve got a lucrative new hobby; fun but also productive. I’ve used survey sites in the past to earn extra cash, and they required a lot more work for similar earnings.

Why not use each weeks’ Skedadle earnings to treat yourself to a pastry or an extra cocktail at the weekend, or deposit them into an account and save towards something you’ve wanted for a while?

Happy Skedadle-ing!
