Last updated on April 1st, 2024 at 09:12 pm

Defined as “an autumn festival held in Munich, Germany, in late September and early October, featuring the drinking of beer”, Oktoberfest is a key date in the autumnal diary. The traditional celebrations are held in Munich, but if your annual leave is dwindling come the autumn, London have a plethora of Oktoberfest celebrations to clink steins at. The list below was put together for the best places to celebrate Oktoberfest in London for 2023, please check back later in the year for our pick of places to celebrate Oktoberfest London in 2024.

Expect 2 pint steins of beer, oompah bands, bratwurst, dancing on tables, a sea of fancy dress, and a whole lotta fun. The festivals usually have a range of drinks on offer, so if beer’s not your bag, no fear. The soundtrack to your evening is likely to be cheesy pop and crowd pleasers (think Abba followed by Sweet Caroline), so if drinking isn’t your thing, you’re still in for a good night. The below Oktoberfest in London celebrations range from purpose built pop up events, to bars that have changed their theme for the autumn. Take your pick!
